Age is all in your head
A backyard party conversation overheard:
Yesterday I was relaxing in my backyard and noticed the neighbors were having an outdoor party. Lots of kids were present and three of them were bouncing up and down on a trampoline that was set up near the fence dividing our property. There were two little girls and a boy; none of them could have been more than 7 or 8 years old.
One of the girls asked the boy, “Are you little?”.
The boy proudly replied, “No…. I’m FIVE!”
I got reminded that age is just a number. What really matters is how you handle it in your thinking and attitude.

I teach Kindergarten (for the last 21 yrs). Some of the most amazing explanations of how this universe works comes from the 4-6 yr. old group. Their thoughts are, as yet, unencumbered by any organized explanation of reality. They are, quite literally, who they are, and are quite ready to take on the world. We should do as well. Good luck on your blog. I just started too.
Good thinking!

Wow, that’s a great observation! It’s amazing how quickly we can go from that to putting ourselves into boxes as we mature. Perhaps that is one reason to not grow up.
